The Herd series - Duck Journey




DUCK JOURNEY


This dainty herd is a group of ducks that were swimming in the Lal Bagh Lake one evening.  I loved the soft ripples that were caused because of their gliding.  I also noticed a lovely pattern that was formed in the ripples that inspired me into painting this artwork. 
This is an acrylic painting on paper of size 9"x12".

    Thanks Prabha. The inspirtion originated from our 'plein air' painting trip to Lal Bagh.
