Painting of 'The Donkey Herd'

THE DONKEY HERD

As the sun was almost overhead and behind the herdsman, I painted only his silhoutte.  The yellow colord plastic water pots were glowing in the sun.  The donkeys as usual - were doing the donkey's work.

    Hi Usha, came here to enjoy the works again.. would love to meet you when I am in Bangalore!
    I did a similar scene from Saputara, Gujarath.
    You have captured the intensity of the sun with your shadows so well and the depth is very well felt through those distant trees.
    The glass still life is magnificent!
