WALK ON THE HIGHWAY
Painting tiny people walking away into a distance was a challenge. I had to create an illusion of saree clad women and panche clad man and a boy, all of them in motion, and also giving the impression of them guiding a herd of donkeys, which is not even visible in the painting. Probably the lone donkey on the left gives a boost to the imagination. Apart from this, creating the illusion of harsh sunlight hitting the backs causing dark shadows to fall on the earth was also a pleasure to paint.
The Herd 2 is an acrylic painting on canvas of size 12'x16".

Your are a wonderful artist yourself. I loved the Angels. The spiritual strength you are putting into it really shows.
As for this painting, yes I have used acrylic paints on canvas. It was very simple and I got it in the first shot. No adjustments were made later.
I use pure colors straight from the tube, and avoid mixing colors as much as possible.
Probably that could be the reason you find it vibrant.
Are these oils? What is the brand name of your paints? Would like to investigate. Thank you for the nice compliments my spirit art.

Since you live in USA, it is easily available in any art store.
I have used the popular Indian brand called 'Camel'- Artists Acrylic Colors'.
